English dancer Hannah Grennell is a First Artist of The Royal Ballet. She trained at The Royal Ballet School and in 2011 graduated into Dutch National Ballet.
She joined the Company at the start of the 2014/15 Season and was promoted to First Artist in 2017.
Grennell was born in Essex and trained at the Adagio School of Dance before joining The Royal Ballet School as a Junior Associate, going on to train through the School, Graduating to join Dutch National Ballet as an aspirant. She was promoted to élève in 2012 and into the corps de ballet in 2013.
Whilst in Amsterdam she was a consistent dancer and member of 'House of Makers' an immersive and creative interdisciplinary performance art company.
Since being with The Royal Ballet Grennell’s roles have included Multiverse by Wayne McGregor, She has created roles in Untouchable, Woolf Works and Crystal Pite's Flight Pattern.
Recently finishing in Australia with the company's annual international tour she looks forward to joining the Sisters Grimm company on their tour to Singapore, broadening her portfolio with an adventurous and creative work with an inspiring company.
