Lucinda Skinner


Lucinda studied cello performance at Trinity College of Music, London, under the tutelage of Joely Koos. Whilst at college, she performed in masterclasses with Raphael Walfish and Christoph Richter.  

Since graduating in 2009, Lucinda has travelled throughout Europe, Dubai South America and South Africa, performing extensively as a classical cellist.

She also became a founding member of Vanity Strings, who have performed for Vivienne Westwood, at The Manbooker Prize and the Houses of Parliament. Their classical corporate clients include Barclays Bank, The O2 and ITV.

In the UK, Lucinda has performed with the British Philharmonic Orchestra, recorded live on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune, Jo Whiley’s BBC Radio 2 show and has made numerous appearances on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
